Achievements
- Fused a passion for audio with a technical background in IT to construct a sonic installation for QUT's Escape Festival which acted as a aural time lapse. The system continuously sampled audio which was used to add further source material and modulate previously recorded material undergoing a layered playback, dependant on frequency and amplitude information, to output a self running, continuously evolving, liquid soundscape.
- Utilized computer based classroom experience to design, develop and implement EyeSpy software package for Education Queensland. This application allows teaching staff to send the display of one machine to either all or a specific selection of classroom machines and remotely control or disable student machines thus removing the need for costly projection equipment and allowing ITC integrated classrooms to function without the risk of the technology causing a distraction.
- Installed and upgraded projection equipment in Hamilton Hall to allow all devices to be controlled and sent signal via a single network connection and additional displays to be attached in a modular manner wherever needed within the venue. This removed the need for the hire and temporary installation of additional cabling and equipment, thus reducing the time and financial commitments required for events.
